Directing
Yong-kun Kwak is a filmmaker and veteran choreographer with over twenty years of experience and more than 400 works across film, television, and advertising. A former principal dancer at MBC, one of Korea's national broadcasters, he has been a significant influence on the country's commercial dance industry. He came to directing from the body. His interest is not in filming dance, but in the moment when movement makes an argument a scene cannot make in words. "Buddha Hands Up : Prequel" (2026) is his directorial debut.
