Finlay Williamson

Directing

Finlay Williamson is a filmmaker and producer, based in London, creating personal narratives about intimacy put under pressure. He’s directed multiple shorts. Inspired by his childhood on council estates, The Estate (2024) had its international premiere at the AMC Empire in Times Square and named him a Finalist at the London Director Awards. Through Disney and the NFTS, he directed Monochrome (2025), which screened at the Curzon Soho. Most recently, he produced a feature film, starring Emmy award-winning Lexi Ainsworth, and directed a short, Deadbeat (2026). He is now in pre-production on his feature debut, Scarlett, a romance drama.
